As part of the City of Dover's 400th anniversary celebration in 2023, the 400th Committee has been working to record video interviews with longtime Dover residents to preserve local history. The latest installment features Newick reminiscing about his family's multi-generational ties to the Dover area and how he built Newick's from a small seafood shack in the 1950s to a popular local restaurant seating over 200 today.
