The City of Dover is constructing a new water storage tank and utility infrastructure along Smith Well Road. A new 16-inch water main and sewer main have already been installed. The storage tank will provide system pressure and storage volume, allowing the aging Garrison Hill tank to be rehabilitated in 2024-2025. The new elevated tank was raised atop the tower on Oct. 20.
